Motorman strike has indeed crippled the entire lot of people who travel by train . I am one of them...however every coin has 2 sides...motormen had given enough time for the Govt to act, but they didnt take any action...If the CM is taking a mtg today, he could have taken it at that time, and would have avoided 2 days chaos!!!!!!!secondly, why cant the rlys keep a standby by staff???why cant they train some of their staff in case of emergency???Thirdly, heard on the TV, those motormen who worked ovetime (30hrs) should have atleast made some eating arrangements!!!!without taking part in the hunger strike, those who were working also were starving, becos of extra duty.....can rly officials pl. make a note of this!!!!!!!

Railways must train a selected few persons in running a suburban train from the general public and create a standby pool of driver volunteers who can be deployed during such emergencies.
